Art & Accessory Installation
It all started with a sweet client that had recently moved into an amazing home. They were starting to feel settled in, but unsure on how to pull everything together and they were looking for a solution. A niche above the fireplace and the bookcases that flanked it were begging for color, texture & interest. We started our journey by reviewing pieces from local artists in the clients home and fell in love with a beautiful horse that was beaming with depth and soul. Two days before Christmas we shared a image on our Facebook of the amazing piece that was installed at our clients home. The artist created a similar feeling horse on a canvas size that was perfect for their niche. Our next step was to pull together accessories that would pull out details from the artwork and after puck lights were installed in the bookcases the pieces came to life.
Phase two of our installation was commissioning the perfect piece for their large stair wall (which could be seen from the Entry, Kitchen, Dining & also the Living Room with the fireplace). In our initial meeting to review art at the clients home, the clients were intrigued by a metal piece that was fabricated by a wonderful local artist. After a meeting to review size, color, welding breaks and format the artist began creating the vision. While installation was a little nerve-wracking due to the height and weight of the pieces being carried across the scaffolding – we couldn’t have had a better result. It’s a piece that draws you in, that bounces the light off the texture and that finishes off the main floor of the home. A big thank you to Nicole, Mark & the artists for helping us pull it all together.
