Storage with purpose
Gone are the days of cabinets without thought – we design beautiful kitchens with purpose. We discuss the quantity of baking dishes, small kitchen appliances, your glass collection, if you want to have wine storage and many additional details to truly make sure you have an organized kitchen that serves the needs of the present as well as your future. Nifty cabinet accessories are also discussed like lift out mixer stands, cookie sheet dividers, appliance ‘garages’ and much more.
Furniture style islands
You’re well aware that islands are the hub of the kitchen. They function as the gathering space for food, entertaining guests, breakfast meals, dinner preparation and sometimes homework. While often large in size they truly become the centerpiece of the kitchen and we like to design them to stand out from the perimeter cabinets.
Simplified style
Classic, shaker inspired kitchens never seem to go out of style. A shaker door is beautiful stained or painted and allows your eye to move around the kitchen and take in each design detail outside of the cabinet door style. A shaker door can be incorporated into a traditional, transitional or even contemporary kitchen – it’s all about what you pair it with.
Quartz counter tops
Clients are looking for maintenance free materials and quartz is a great solution. We are partial to Cambria at Che Bella Interiors, and are always inspired by their latest designs.
Task specific zones
Zones for prep around the cook-top, for baking and rolling out dough, for entertaining guests and for morning routines. While the ‘triangle’ concept within your kitchen remains important, we are also thinking about work zones within your kitchen for efficiency.
Hints of texture
Texture is an important element to create design interest, even within your kitchen. Bead board, barn wood, tile with depth and hand scraped flooring are ways that we add texture. While all of these elements together can a lot – we often focus on one or two ways, so that the overall feel is still simplistic and refined, but pops of texture are there for interest.

Pendants are the jewels of the kitchen. They allow you to incorporate personality and softness while providing function over your counter top surface.
