As 2021 draws to a close, we’re taking time to reflect and express gratitude for a truly remarkable year at Che Bella Interiors. Despite a global pandemic, unprecedented supply chain challenges and a very busy year for the construction and remodeling industry, 2021 has been a year filled with amazing growth, important milestones, and cherished accomplishments for our Minneapolis interior design firm.

15th Anniversary
We celebrated a major company milestone in 2021 – our 15th anniversary! When we opened our interior design firm, we set out to create an exceptional design experience for each client, whether it’s a whole-house renovation, a bathroom remodel, or simply a refresh on an existing space. Even 15 years later, nothing quite beats the look on a client’s face when we get to do the final project reveal. That smile and the “you’ve made our dreams come true” comments are everything to us. Dream Home Additions
In a year where everyone was spending more time at home, we loved helping clients envision new ways to add functional and beautiful living space to their homes. We designed several new home additions in the Twin Cities area, including this stunning Day Brightener Home Addition in Prior Lake, MN which was recently featured by Houzz. These sun-soaked, four-season additions are the perfect spot to relax and entertain all year long. Is your space next?
Award-Winning Interior Designs
It was an incredible honor to have our designs recognized with numerous major industry awards this year. These awards reflect our long-held commitment to excellence in design.
- The Timeless, kitchen remodel project, won a 2021 CotY Gold Award in the category of Residential Kitchen $30,000 to $60,000 from NARI-MN.
- The Lux, involving selections for new construction, won a 2021 Midwest Home Award in the category of Custom Furniture.
- Finally, The Tranquil, a bathroom remodel project, won the triple crown of awards! A 2021 CotY Gold Award in the category of Residential Bath $25,000 to $50,000 from NARI-MN, a 1st Place NKBA Design Award in the category of Large Bathrooms, and a 3rd Place 2021 Midwest Home Design award in the category of Small Space Remodel.
New Logo & Name
In 2021, we unveiled a new logo and a name – Che Bella Interiors Design + Remodeling. While seemingly small, the change better reflects the full spectrum of services that we’ve offered to clients for more than a decade. One thing that hasn’t changed…our passion and reputation for creating spaces that are beautifully yours.
A Warm Welcome to Ed Hatterschide
We’ve worked with Ed for many years, and we’re thrilled that he officially joined our team in 2021. As an accomplished remodeler, Ed has decades of experience in construction management. He’s been instrumental in seamlessly guiding our clients through the remodeling process with superior attention to detail. He’s one of the best in the business and we’re proud to have him at Che Bella.
