It’s Friday the 13! Whether you celebrate or dread this particular day, it got me thinking about superstitions and how that relates to our industry. Below I am exploring 5 common myths about interior design, since after all, a superstition can be another word for misconception or fallacy. Unless someone has worked closely with an interior designer, it may be easy to fall prey to preconceived notions, fears, or the glitz and glam of unrealistic design shows on TV. So walk under that ladder, pet that black cat, and rest assured that interior design isn’t always what you think it may be!
