The Edina Project – In the Beginning
Che Bella Interiors has been hired to assist Jim & Jan with the selections of the new home they are building in Edina, MN. Theycurrently live in Savage, MN but their strong ties to Edina are pulling them back. Jim tells Che Bella why they want to move back to Edina and how they chose the location for their new home:
“When we first moved to Minnesota in 1988 we lived there, and both of our daughters graduated from Edina High School. Our church is Christ Presbyterian at 70th and Highway 100 in Edina. Now the girls are married and both live in Edina. One of our daughters is a teacher at Edina High School and our other daughter’s husband is an Edina police officer, so we have good reason to suspect they may stay in Edina. More importantly, our four grandchildren live in Edina. So, wanting to be closer to our family, we looked for a walkout lot in their neighborhood. The lot fit the bill in all respects. It is just 1/2 mile from one daughters family, and it is 3/4 mile from our other daughters family. The property was also a short sale, so we felt we could get it for a good price.”
