This once lonely walk up wet bar was in need of something more. We added a bar-height island with Cmabria top to accommodate game storage and bar stools instead of going with an everyday pub table.

  • Interior Design Living Room Hutchinson Minnesota

When our clients asked us to come up with a new flow for their main level, we instantly knew what we would change. We opened up the wall between the hearth room and living room and raised the existing living room’s sunken floor. We added a soft arch to the new opening between the two spaces and also replaced the living room’s old bay window with a new large sliding door that opens onto a new deck. By raising the sunken floor we created a sense of continuity between all the spaces on the main level. To complete the living room, we chose two angled sofas and a large glass coffee table. The angled sofas create a soft circular flow and your view from the front entry is allowed to travel through the glass table top to the beautiful lake views outside.

From this view, you can see the circular flow that the sofas bring to the room as well as a peak of how this relates to the view from the front entry foyer. The new large sliding doors let in lots of natural light and lead out to the new deck that faces the beautiful lake just outside. A large bank of existing cabinetry was re-used and placed along the back wall and is the perfect storage for all of the homeowners glasses and collection of turquoise glassware that was inspiration for the pops of color throughout.

  • Interior Design Hearth Room Hutchinson Minnesota

New furniture in the clients’ hearth room gave the space a whole new life. They use this space to read the paper each morning while sitting by the fire so we wanted to create an area that was comfortable and cozy. Two large wing back chairs are an updated nod to the clients’ personal taste and add softness against the original brick fireplace behind. A shaggy wool rug and pops of turquoise add fun texture, color, add whimsy to the space. Not pictured is the clients’ baby grand piano that is nestled off just to the side.

  • Interior Design Living Room Prior Lake Minnesota

In its past life, this two-story Great Room had a sunken floor, no fireplace, no ceiling detail and lacked character. We worked with the client to transform the space into a welcoming room for their two little boys, family gatherings and entertaining their friends.

  • Interior Design Living Room Maple Grove Minnesota

A wonderful living room transformation. This room previously featured 25 year old builder grade white paint and original carpeting. We updated the main floor of this home for a family that was hosting a graduation party. New laminate flooring, a large rug and new furniture allowed us to redesign a space plan that could accomodate enough seating for entertaining. Paint gave the space new life and new custom art by a local artist completed the room and also became a great talking point while entertaining.

  • This project consisted of designing a space for a multitude of storage and organization, as well as a unique area for the homeowner's beloved dog Sadie. A custom built-in cubby area in the mudroom has two hinged lift-tops to provide seating and closed storage. There is also a custom built-in dog bed for Sadie, complete with an upholstered washable cushion. The modern Spanish red color on the wall brings a splash of color to create visual interest and help make the space unique.

  • This project consisted of designing a space for a multitude of storage and organization. The built-in pantry cabinetry ensures that there is more than enough storage to please the homeowner who is an avid cook. Also, custom built shelves inside accommodate numerous specialty cookware and food items. The cabinetry was finished in a crisp white to provide the hallway with an open and airy feeling. The far wall was painted a deep blue so that the beautiful artwork is a true focal point.

  • Interior Design Prior lake Four Season Porch

A four-season porch overlooking the lake previously had a feeling that was a little flat. We incorporated new paint, furnishings and window treatments to bring a new calming perspective. Small details such as nail-head, custom painted side tables and pops of green and blue transitioned the porch into a relaxing space off the client's kitchen.

  • Interior Design Living Room Burnsville Minnesota

This spacious room serves as an extension of a large kitchen/informal dining room and is a central gathering place for the entire family. The design makes the most of the 12' ceiling and unique architecture. The tall windows are highlighted with beautiful silk herringbone panels that let lots of natural light flood the space. The fireplace adds interest through the use of stacked ledge stone and a maple wood mantel stained in a complimentary dark espresso.

Four oversized leather club chairs give flexibility to this lower level room, whether settling in for comfortable conversation, reading, or watching television. Interest and character is added to the space through small details such as the arch incorporated into the mantel, the slate tile on the fireplace, and the detailed framing around the windows. Gentlemen's quarters!

  • Interior Design Living Room Burnsville Minnesota

This bar area was designed for easy entertaining! The slate tile on the floor and backsplash perfectly compliment the cherry cabinets, while the glass front cabinets and under cabinet storage show off the beautiful glassware. Large cherry corbels and fluting on the front of the bar add elegance to the space. The finishing touch is the tannery bronze old world light fixtures over the bar and pool table.

This formal dining room can be used for gatherings big and small. The Italian-style dining table and oversized hutch are perfectly sized for the space. The luxurious fabrics chosen for the chairs and window panels help achieve the traditional, refined look the homeowner desired. The chandelier echoes the old world style of the rest of the home. Distinguished design!

  • Interior Design Living Room Burnsville Minnesota

This informal dining space is located adjacent to a large kitchen. A custom built-in hutch provides lots of storage and serves as a buffet when entertaining. Bun feet on the hutch give the illusion of a freestanding piece of furniture, and set it apart from the walls of kitchen cabinets. Carefully chosen design elements , including the antiqued enamel finish on the hutch and the ceiling medallion above the chandelier, add charm to the space. Delightful dining!
