  • Interior Design Nursery Prior Lake Minnesota

The design for this nursery is whimsical and fun, yet not too juvenial - the perfect balance that still allows the newly arrived little girl to grow with the space. The focal point on the crib wall is the tree mural. It was painted in white to let the other colors in the space stand out.

The functional arm chair was specified in a hot pink fabric and gives the room a large punch of color. Family photos hung over a dresser that doubles as a changing table add a personalized touch to the space. The dresser is a neutral piece that can transition as the little girl grows up.

Finishing touchesare an important part in any design project. We use a mini chandelier to add sparkle and give the nursery a less juvenile feel. Accessories and toys are stored in functional baskets that the little girl will be able to use as she grows up. We also painted the door to match the accent wall color.

  • Interior Design Boys Bedroom St Paul Minnesota

The design of this little boy's room focuses on his love of cars and Ninja Turtles. The focal point is the racecar bed, the perfect spot for him to curl up after a long day playing in his room. Above the bed we chose a loft so he can host sleepovers, and the drawer stairs provide additional storage.

No detail was overlooked - a custom racetrack wall decal, the metal shelves for Ninja Turtles, custom name art made out of toy cars, and even closet fabric panels made out of black and white racing checkers.

This custom wall treatment consists of painted letters to create a large focal point. The mix of patters and colors is fun and whimsical - perfect for the little one's nursery. You can see a peak of the painted strip detail that brough color to the adjacent walls.

  • Interior Design Girls Bathroom Golden Valley

This bathroom design included keeping all the original tile and fixtures - including the patented sink from 1932. We chose a soft yellow for the walls that has a green tint - to compliment the yellow and blue tile. We also added a custom sink skirt, shower curtain, and roman shade to add softness.

  • Interior Design Girls Playroom Golden Valley

This playroom was designed for active and imaginative 9-year old twins. The inspiration was a bold and whimsical wallcovering. The main sitting area is made up of modular furniture over movable carpet squares, giving the space flexibilty. The side closet and window nook are spaces for the girls dress up clothes and a cozy place to read or lounge with friends.

The playroom also featured original bird's eye maple wood built-ins and a second side closet is the perfect place for the girls' doll/toy collections. The girls' own artwork is hung throughout giving the space a more personalized feel.

The twin girls have many interests - so their playroom contains different areas for various activities including crafts at the built-in desk area, dress-up and fashion in one side closet, and dolls/toys in another closet.
